Dr. June Stevens 

June Steven’s ND, a clinician, educator and author, grew up on a small family farm in Maine and has always had a love for plants and a deep appreciation nature. Her healthcare career path began in the United States Navy working as a registered nurse followed by pursing her true passion - Naturopathic Medicine. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ and completed her residency program in Scottsdale AZ. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Southern Maine, a Master’s Degree in Metabolic and Nutritional Medicine from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine and, an Advanced Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine. 

 

As an educator, Dr. Stevens served as an adjunct facility member at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine as well as guest lecturer at the University of Arizona’s Center for Integrative Medicine. She currently lectures at Shasta College. 

 

As an author, Dr. Stevens was a contributing author to the cardiovascular health sections of the book, Prescription for Nutritional Healing, 4th Ed. Her current book, The Gut-Brain Connection, is the first book in her “Naturopathic Wisdom Series.” 

 

As a clinician, Dr. Stevens was founder and Medical Director of the Naturopathic Heart Institute of Tucson until December 2015, at which time she moved her practice to Northern California. In January, 2016, Dr. Stevens opened NOR CAL Natural Medicine Redding, CA. where her emphasis is in women’s health and cardiology. 

 

Recognized as a subject matter expert in naturopathic, integrative and functional medicine approaches to health, Dr. Stevens seeks to determine the root cause of her patient’s condition, respects their unique biochemical individuality when developing a personalized treatment plan and strives to educate and empower her patients to become active participants in their healthcare. Her vision is to put “Health Back into Healthcare” and move the world toward wellness. 

 

Dr. Stevens lives in Northern California with her spouse Melanie and their three dogs, Hillary, Sophie and Pippa.
